Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Technovative Pty Ltd (ABN 43 697 004 112) ("we", "us", "our"), the publisher of Prince of Cricket (a game developed by Anemative Pvt Ltd), collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you visit princeofcricket.com (the "Site"), register your interest in early access to Prince of Cricket, or subscribe to our newsletter.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using the Site or providing us with your personal information, you agree to this Policy.

1. What personal information we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for the purposes described below.

(a) Information you give us directly:

  • Early-access registration: your name and email address (and any optional details you choose to provide, such as your country or platform preference).

  • Newsletter subscription: your email address.

(b) Information we collect automatically when you visit the Site:

  • Technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies and through our analytics provider (see section 7).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, religious or political information) through the Site.

2. How we collect your information

We collect personal information directly from you when you complete a form on the Site, and automatically through cookies and analytics tools as you browse. We do not buy or rent personal information from third parties.

3. Why we collect, use and hold your information
  • We use your personal information to:

  • register and manage your expression of interest in early access to Prince of Cricket, and to contact you about early-access opportunities;

  • send you newsletter updates, development news, announcements and marketing about Prince of Cricket and related products where you have consented to receive them;

  • respond to your enquiries;

  • operate, maintain, analyse and improve the Site and our marketing; and

  • comply with our legal obligations.

  • We will only use your information for a purpose you would reasonably expect, or a directly related purpose, unless you consent otherwise or we are required or permitted by law.

4. Marketing and your consent

When you subscribe to our newsletter or register for early access and opt in to updates, you consent to receiving electronic marketing messages from us. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — we will action your request promptly and stop sending you marketing messages. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Unsubscribing from marketing does not delete your account-related or registration records (see section 8).

5. Who we disclose your information to

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to:

  • our development studio, Anemative Pvt Ltd (based in India), where reasonably necessary to operate early-access programmes and develop Prince of Cricket;

  • service providers who help us run the Site and our communications — for example our website host, email/newsletter platform, and analytics provider (e.g. Google Analytics) — who are only permitted to use it to provide services to us;

  • professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where necessary; and

  • authorities or other parties where required or authorised by law.

6. Overseas disclosure (cross-border)

Some of our service providers, and our development studio Anemative Pvt Ltd (based in India), may store or process your information outside Australia (for example, in India, the United States, or other countries where our providers or studio operate). Where we disclose your personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles. By providing your information, you acknowledge that it may be stored or processed overseas. Likely locations include: India (our development studio).

7. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. We use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to collect aggregated usage data. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this Policy, or as required by law. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, we will remove your personal information from our active records within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it (for example, to honour your unsubscribe request or to meet a legal obligation).

9. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including access controls and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond quickly if an issue arises. We comply with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme and will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if a data breach is likely to result in serious harm to you.

10. Children

The Site and our early-access and newsletter sign-ups are not directed at children under [16] years of age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the Site. If you are under [16], please do not register or subscribe without the consent of a parent or guardian. If we become aware that we have collected a child's information without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

11. Your rights — access and correction

You have the right to:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;

  • request correction of information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete; and

  • withdraw consent to marketing at any time (see section 4).

To make a request, contact us using the details in section 14. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. There is generally no charge for accessing your information, but we may charge a reasonable fee for substantial requests.

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 may give you additional rights. Contact us and we will assist in line with applicable law.

12. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your information, please contact us first (section 14) so we can investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
